Hello, I'm Megan Debuf
My name is Megan Debuf, and I am currently a student at the College for Creative Studies and a resident of St. Clair, Michigan. As an animator who specializes in 2D and 3D animation, I focus on character animation and cleanup work where I’m inspired by vibrant, playful, and cartoonish work.
I’m inspired and passionate about merging traditional media with the latest technology where I can blend both 2D and 3D mediums together to create fun, innovative, and exciting works of animation.

My experience includes working at Eat Rice Studios, working on 2D background characters and cleanup for commercial work “VYVGART: Dosing”. I’m also diving into personal film projects like “Why Do You Draw?”, my junior thesis that integrates 3D elements and rigging with 2D animation. In “Fools Gold,” by Samara Brown, I showcase my skills in 2D character acting while helping the production with creating 3D rigs to help with production and time. Finally, “Cyber Date”, directed and produced by me helped better hone my skills as a leader and aim for a cartoonish style similar to the style of Warner Brothers. But no matter what project I’m on, I aim to create my work that pushes the boundaries and limits of the media, and pushes my own limits too so I can learn and grow as an artist.
